Muzakki Afifuddin is a lecturer in an English Letters Department in Univeristas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim that focuses his interest in understanding the learners' cognitive process of literary texts interpretations in EFL settings. He tries to apply Semiotics, Stylistics, Literary Competence, Intercultural Learning, and Critical Literacy. He is now pursuing his doctoral degree in Universitas Negeri Malang. Aside from those activities, he is also an National Qualified Intercultural Learning Trainer of the American Field Service. His hobby is observing people and put them in pictures and poems.
